Mobile fingerprinting truck/van will be coming to Norwood on Wednesday, March 15th and will be set up in the Norwood Police Department parking lot from 9:30am - 12p / 1p - 4:30pm.  All details can be found on the attached flyer. Once fingerprints have  been submitted, a background check will be completed. Upon completion  and acceptance, the Town of Norwood will issue an identification badge  to all coaches and volunteers. These ID badges will be 

1. Fingerprints for background check
2. Rutgers Coaching Certification
3. Youth Sports Concussion Training

Lastly, all coaches and volunteers are required to complete the CDC  Youth Sports - Online Concussion Training course to learn the important  steps in concussion safety, symptom identification, potential  consequences and steps for returning from concussion injury. We highly recommend that, even if you do not plan on coaching or  volunteering for the upcoming season, all prospective coaches and volunteers complete these requirements for future Norwood sports  seasons.
